Miniature Schnauzers make good watchdogs but are usually polite with everyone. Usually good with other family pets.
Miniature Schnauzers are fearless, usually have a mind of their own (think they're human, I suppose) but with proper training make excellent house pets; loyal, obedient, loving.
Miniature Schnauzers rarely shed, and have wiry hair and a whiskery face.
If groomed properly, they are absolutely beautiful and usually draw much attention when out among crowds.
I have been breeding Miniature Schnauzers for six years in my home. I do not run a "puppy mill" and am strongly opposed to entities who do. All of my dogs are pets, and treated as such, living in a climate controlled indoor kennel.
Of all breeds, I have found the Schnauzers to be very devoted pets, and will usually only bond to one person in the household. However, they still accept other household members, and are overall very loving animals.
